My boyfriend and I just came here for the first time, two days ago, and already we are back. I have had several home cooked Korean meals, but none of them compare to this. Back home, O-Mart is the place, where everyone goes for Bulgoki and other delicious dishes…however, this place puts them to shame. I couldn’t help but eat every bite of my food, and as full as I was, I still wished there was more. Everyone was extremely friendly; it felt more like they welcomed us into their home and cooked for us, than a restaurant.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The food is delicious and the prices per portions are great! I have been there 3 times and have had the Kim bop, tuna roll, and mandu. All were fresh and tasty. Have also sampled the bulgoki (best I’ve ever had… just like in Korea), bi bim bop, spicy squid, and yukejang… all amazing. My husband favors the jajangmeon, he says its the best he has… even better than Korea. This place is definitely our favorite of all the Korean restaurants in SV.
My place for Korean Food. Dont let the location trick you, the food here is awesome. My kids maul me for this food, i have to toss it on the table and pull back before losing a hand. The Kim Bap is the best I have had in over 10 years. I have to order it with everymeal i get which comes in large portions. Definitally go here and give it a chance to change your perspective on korean cuisine.
It’s tucked away on the service road next to the main gate and I’ve driven right past it many times. A friend told me about the restaurant and my husband and I were not disappointed. We ordered tuna roll appetizer and the dumplings. Both were really good. The ginger served was really good too. Their side dishes were very tasty and they had a nice variety. Our entrees were just as delicious. Although the pork bulgoki could have been spicier. The price was great too. For two appetizers and two entrees was just as much as two entrees at Bun Buku. I will definitely be returning.
