We came form Iowa to visit. I seen this on line and made it a must see when we get here. Very good food and very good service. I would recommend this to everyone. Thanks for the good food.
Knows good food. Based on a review in the Star and loving German food, 6 of us made the 2 1/2 hr. Trek from Oro Valley, really looking forward to it. Very disappointed in everything except being with our friends (fun). The food was mediocre, the ambience poor, our server was EXCELLENT and very accommodating. Considering all of this, we will not waste our time coming back.
I called ahead to make sure they could accommodate the motorcycle group I was bringing. Patrick had the tables ready for us to be seated. Everyone was enjoyed the variety of choices. We will return!
Horrible, will never EVER go back again. Between never seeing the waitress for the entire 2 hours we were there and the mediocre food, can’t believe this place is still open.
I ate at this place a couple of times. I haven’t had authentic German food or been to any of the other German places here in SV but I still think their food is OK. I really like their Ruben and fries. The staff here is always lacking… kind of like they don’t really care or something. The prices are a bit high for the service and food portions. Would consider coming back but am.more inclined to try the other German places now that I am aware that they exist.
Not again. I see why there hasnt been a review on here since October 2012, this place must have gone terribly south since anything good was said about it. The food, was ok, there are better german places in town. The waiter didnt even know german and did a bad job of attempting to pronounce the order back to me. The worst part of all was they dont have their own bathroom, you go through a maze to end up in the leaking, dirty, bathroom of the sad dark bar next door, never will I or my family to here again. This is if your drunk food at best.
Very good German food and great service. It is the best I have had outside of Germany.
