Just, ehhhh…. After a long day of holiday shopping, we stopped by the CF. First off, their menu was HUGE. The pros: the cheesecake was awesome, the bread was tasty, the decor was nice, and we got seated quicker than we’d anticipated. And, now the cons: as my husband ate his shepherd’s pie, a puddle of grease remained on the plate. The chicken on my salad was borderline rubbery (it reminded me of that sketchy chicken meat that comes in TV dinners). I may go back — but it’ll only be for dessert.
The place definitely has a nice atmosphere, but the food is overrated. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo pasta and it was disgusting. The whole dish was drenched in garlic and oil. There was hardly any sauce. I could have gone somewhere else for a $14 meal! The other people in my party got the club sandwich, which was simply mediocre. This place has gone down in quality the past few years. They have taken some of the best items off the menu! I probably won’t go back unless the only thing I plan to eat is cheesecake.
Good food but……. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, so is the patio. It is really a nice place. It reminds me of the Venetian in Vegas. Ever single detail in the decor looked to be thoughtfully planned out. If that standard was reflected across the board, I’d go back. Our cloth dinner napkins smelled like rancid cooking oil. It is clear that they launder the kitchen rags with the table linens. Gross. Who wants to wipe their mouth with a rancid napkin? Also, I had to ask the server for new flatwear as both forks and the spoon had food debris on them. My husband also had to ask for new flatwear because his was dirty too. This makes me very nervous about how clean the back of the house is. I would not go back. I will say that the food was good and not too pricey….. for the serving size. Our server was prompt and friendly.
Good value. Cheesecake Factory may be the most talked about place in town. Everywhere I go I hear about them. Most of what I hear is that it is too expensive. I have not found that to be the case. I usually order the goat cheese pizza for $12. Half of it ends up being taken home and becoming a second meal. I don’t think that’s a bad value at all. The entree prices are right around the $15-25 range. In case folks haven’t noticed… that’s about what entrees cost at nicer restaurants for the past 20 years. I don’t know how eateries stay in business when their prices don’t even keep pace with inflation, and the customer base still thinks its too expensive. The other thing I hear a lot is that they treat their staff like slaves. I have noticed on craigslist that they hire all of the time. This leads me to believe that they probably do treat their servers like dogs. I’ve never had the same server twice. But I’ll keep going there. The entrees are well prepared and the cheesecakes are delicious. Their martinis are among the best in town.
A little more fancy than i anticipated but great food and great service not alot of beer selections though i ended up drinking some weird beer
@2025 my party of six were seated the waitress took drinks order check twice for main plate order great job the entree was beliw standard but the food was on point. 4/5
Just ok. It is just OK, nothing to die for. The chicken wings and salads are good, but the navajo sandwich was a huge dissapointment. It had absolutely no flavor at all
