Middle of the road. From NY and MN, we are foodies. Ordered the shrimp & pork spring rolls, a ginger ale and a dirty martini. The app came first, without utensils or drinks. The rolls were fresh enough, but not made today. We were finished with the rolls before our beverages arrived. Then we were served a perfect and cold martini. No ginger ale (no problem.) The garlic noodles came out next, presumably to accompany the shaken beef entree, but it came like a second course. They were flavorful, but cold. The shaken beef came out sizzling, next. That was a salty entree, but excellent, overall. Next came tofu pho– a vermicelli soup in a bland chicken broth with sides of fish sauce, red chili liquid, bean sprouts, basil and one tiny lime slice. Beautifully presented, it could have been more interesting with a miso base and a carrot or pea pod, but came only with wonderful fresh mushrooms and some bok choi. Boring, but pretty. At that point, we asked for the side salad to not be brought. Finally, the second beverage arrived. The pacing and sequence of our meal was strange. Salad after the soup and entree? A drink after that?? Our server, Josh, was pleasant and handsome, but seemed to be tossing the food on our table as it was ready, but not when it should have been presented. This was likely the kitchen’s fault, not his, because he seemed as rattled as we were.
Terrific Restaurant. We winter in Surprise, a community not known for fine dining. If it had a few more places like Saigon Kitchen it would be. The four of us had a wonderful experience. They had Happy Hour appetizers and drinks that available until 6:00 p.m. even on a weekend. The spring rolls were very good and the egg rolls were just terrific. They offered three local beers on tap and I asked the very knowledgeable server about two of them. She brought me a sample (big sample) of both to help me make my choice. We asked her for some suggestions on entrees we might like. I chose the shaken beef and was not disappointed. It was cooked to perfection. It was also presented very nicely. I opted for the garlic noodles instead of the rice and soup. They were wonderful. I asked for some hot sauce and she brought me Sriracha and an interesting sauce/relish made by the owner’s mother. It was great and packed a good wallop. I don’t go out to eat often, in large part because I am almost always disappointed with the marginal food that is served. This outing was really special and we will definitely go back.

Good food; great service. We ate dinner at Saigon Kitchen last night. Had Goi Con appetizer and Pho. The food was good. My only complaint would be that I would like a bit more fish sauce dressing for the noodles. Food was perfect for a hot Arizona night. The service was top notch, and the food came out of the kitchen at a nice pace. Kudos to Saigon Kitchen. If we are ever back in this area we will be back.
OMG!! This restaurant is fantastic!! The pork and shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce haunt my dreams. I could eat them every day. The server was very knowledgeable about the food and the menu. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant!! You won’t be disappointed…. Oh and if you are a coffee lover try the iced coffee!!
Amazing food! Pork spring rolls were to die for. Pho and saigon noodles with beef were great, and my husband and I had enough for our lunches tomorrow. The service was so friendly and food was delivered hot and fast. We will be back A LOT.
Absolutely incredible! Been awhile since I have been at a restaurant that thoroughly impressed me. Service was excellent. Highly recommend the spring rolls and filer mignon skillet. 10/10!
