Clean and Flavorful. Wow, what a delight! We loved Saigon Kitchen, and apparently, so does everyone else in the area. We visited AZ last week and were thrilled to find this little gem of a place. We ate there three times in one week, and always arrived early. Lines develop quickly, though those waiting are still offered drinks and appetizers, which I think is a very nice touch. The food was great. i loved the Spring Rolls and the Vietnamese egg rolls were excellent. The rice vermicelli combinations are outstanding. Finally, to poor Bob from February 19: Saigon is a city in Vietnam, not Thailand. It’s the Saigon Kitchen, not the Bangkok Kitchen. Vietnamese food is cleaner and fresher and allows the ingredients to complement each other. Thai food is dominated by heavy sauces that are frequently overly spicy. Thus, your expectations were not met.
