Sooooooo good. Try the fried avocado! Service exemplary. My only complaint would have to be the menu having far too many delicious-looking options, choosing was very difficult.
Big sandwhiches. I really liked my sandwhich here. The bread was like french toast. My dads sandwich was HUGE. My brother had a salad and ate it all. He never eats all his food unless its a salad
The waitress was nice. The asortment of Pickels was delish. The hamburger was super huge, but over cooked and dry. No flavor. As this is supposed to be a Jewish Deli type of place. We also ordered the Latkes sampler plate, 4 of the 6 were burnt, the spinach ones were good. Ordered the Perogies also, they came deep fried from the deep fryer (menu stated boiled then sauted in butter and onions), served with sour cream that was off. They were very over cooked, hard & chewy to say the least. For desert we took home some French macaroons, and chocolate twists. The baked good were great, but a bit pricy as they were sold by weight. $9.95 for 9 mini cookies, a bit much. We will not be returning, as this restaurant was a big dissapointment. Too bad Phoenix doesn’t have a real Non-Americanized Jewish Deli. We will still be looking for one…
Great food. The food is absolutely delicious. I love their sliders & their brisket is amazing. however the wait staff doesn’t seem to care if you wait over 45min for a bagel w eggs & onions. I’ve never gotten prompt service here. order take out; itll save you waiting 90min.

Meh.. My cabbage rolls woul…. Meh..My cabbage rolls would have been good but they tasted like someone spilled maple syrup ail over them.The squash medley was drowning in butter substitute and way over salted. The potato pancake was like a McDonalds hash brown only round.The eclair was as tougher than a cactus.They have the food but not the soul of a delicatessan.
Wow, so good. Two weeks ago I was in NYC. Chompies is the place I looked for but could not find. great Jewish deli and eastern european food. The diner plates could feed a family of four. Try the stuffed cabbage rolls.
