Food was so-so. I got the yellowtail sushi which was good along with dumplings. However, the oysters on the half-shell were probably the worst I’ve ever had, which should have been expected at $13 for 1/2 dozen I should have known better.
I want to clarify: the manager did removed the lotus roll from our bill. And it is a great atmosphere02 Nov, 2012Stay away from the lotus roll. Gross! Nothing like the picture for quantity. Mushy, greasy, with a lot of a mayo based sauce. Service was very friendly, helpful and apologetic. Unfortunately the manager didn’t care to improve our experience.
Great Service!! Good Food!!. My Family and I decided to try out something new so we ate at kabuki. I didnt expect much for a sushi place in the mall, but was I wrong. The restaurant had some Asian decors, but not overwhelming and played slow peaceful music. It was also clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was fun and stylish. We decided to try the dreamboat, which could probably serve 5 people. The food came relatively fast considering how much food was in the boat. I had my eye on the California roll, since I havent eaten sushi before. The sushi was amazing. Im definitely hooked on them. The service was good. The staffs were friendly and quick on their feet. The price of the food was substantially fair. This is a good place to go on a nice dinner with family. I would definitely go back.
Great food! A little pricey. But what do you expect, its a sushi place at Tempe Marketplace so you pay for what you get. I still think that it is worth the price with great sushi and other dishes. The ambiance is good for a large party.
Thumbs up. We were meeting relatives for diner and when they suggested a japanese restaurant I thought either I go home hungy or it is going to be really expensive. I was pleasantly suprised. The service was excellent. The waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The portions were generous, I ordered an entre and rolls, the rolls alone would have been enough for me. The chicken teriyaki was very good. In summary I would go back again and recommend this restaurant to others.
Horrible service. Food was ok but the waitress paid little to no attention to our table. I had to get the manager to have her even get our order. Won’t return!!
Very good food. If you’re looking for just sushi it’s a bit pricey, an you’d be better off going to sushi 101. Their entree and appetizers are really good though, and the interior decorations are very cool.
