If you are looking for some great unique stone baked pizza, Mellow Mushroom is the place to go! Mellow Mushroom has delicious food as well as a fun and laid back environment to make a great place for a bite to eat! I am very pleased to say that my experience at Mellow Mushroom was absolutely phenomenal, and I will definitely be paying another visit to taste another slice of their classic pizzas. Not only is the food great, but the employees are as well! The waiters and waitresses make sure that: you are having an awesome experience, and that you get the food you are craving. The employees are casual, friendly and outgoing which makes the experience more comfortable and laid back for you and your friends. My group of friends and I had a great waitress who recommended a delicious BBQ chicken pizza and also recommended awesome places to visit around Mill Ave while we were there for the night. The food was more on the expensive side, but the quality definitely matches the price. The great service also made up for the expensiveness, and made it an overall pleasurable experience for me and my group of friends. The vibe in the restaurant matches the vibe of Mill Ave and its lively energy. If you are ever in the Mill Ave area, you should for sure give Mellow Mushroom a try. Trust me, you will be glad you did!
My friend and I went to a place called Mellow Mushroom on Mill Ave. It was a very clean and friendly atmosphere; many families were there with their children. Our waitress was very energetic and kind. She made conversation with us and was a great waitress. The service was fast. They checked on us to see if we needed any more water or to ask how the food was.Mellow Mushroom had really good food. We got half barbeque chicken pizza and the other half had olives onions and mushrooms. Both types of the pizza had great flavor. The food was on the expensive side, but the quality matched the price. I would recommend eating there if you are in the area.The restraint itself was an upbeat place. It was lively and all the waiters and waitresses dressed very casual. The surroundings in the restraint matched the surroundings of Mill Ave; young people with there own type of personality went there. They are unique with artwork on the walls.
Toured ASU and needed a place to eat lunch. We chose here because we liked the name. Almost left immediately due to the pungent odor of the restaurant. Yikes! But the pizza is worth it. I was impressed they have 48 beers on tap. But there was not a recognizable one among them. Had to taste several to find one palatable. But I did. And they are great at brining you as many as you need to find one to your liking.
Best pizza in Phoenix area! Great atmosphere and quality pizza. Although it is a bit pricey but the food is worth it. It’s in college town so there are plenty of cool places to walk around after too
this place is amazing. the food was shockingly so much better than expected. the service was so nice and helpful. they by mistake gave me a whole sandwich instead of half and the manager was completely happy they made the mistake. the astmoslhsds is fun for a college town and the prices as well are perfect. would definitely recommend the mellow mushroom.
Never received food. Went to Mellow Mushroom and waited 20 minutes to be seated! Finally got seated and placed order for beer, soda and pizza for three individuals! We were served beer and sofa fast! However, 70 minutes later no food! We paid for drinks and walked out! Manager and staff were not helpful! Will never go back!
Good Pizza.. HORRIBLE Service. Admittedly, the pizza is pretty good, but the restaurant itself is really dirty and poorly managed. THe wait time is incredibly long, and they frequently get orders wrong (I’ve been 3 times, they have gotten my order wrong twice..) Some how, Mellow Mushroom finds a way to mess up pizza. I would not recommend to anyone who values sanitation or service.
