I’ve been to Mellow Mushroom on Mill Avenue in Tempe a few times and I’ve always liked the pizza. I popped in here pretty late after seeing a show at the Marquee Theater. I shared a salad and a pizza that was on special, but i can’t seem to remember the name of it, it was very good though. It had a Chipotle sauce base and it was topped with chorizo, avocado, red onion, and tomato, it was a unique set of pizza flavor that I enjoyed. The salad was very basic and not a very good value. I’ll keep coming back.
So I had a chance to visit mellow mushroom this weekend and liked the place! It provides a decent seating arrangement with the upholstery being torn from here and there. The service was rather quick and the food was delivered it us in 10 minutes . We ordered 1.large mega veggie pizza The large pizzas are enough to feed four people according to the appetite of our group . The pizza was loaded with veggies and tasted great and was one of the best pizza I had tasted in a long time 2. Buffalo chicken pizza It did not have much toppings just chicken and bacon over it . The pizza was huge and was spicy which was good but I wished it had more topping 3. North coast prankster SamThe beer was really good All in all the visit to mellow mushroom turned it to be great and I would love to visit this place again (y)
