A few weeks ago I went to Rula Bula, with some friends to see what all the ravewas about. The experience was amazing from the beginning to the end and the staff should definitely be praised for the outstanding jobs they do! Right when we saw the restaurant we could tell this pub was the real deal. From the door down to light fixtures, to the curtains the restaurant was a real authentic styled Irish Pub. My friends were already set on trying their Shepherds pie, but being a vegetarian I began to look for another option. That was when my waiter stopped me and told me they could easily make me a meatless pie. I was so excited! Our meals were served quickly but nonetheless delicious and hot. I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing my shepherds pie was, I can easily say it was the best shepherds pie I have ever had. It contained peas, carrots, and their own style potatoes which all together created a mouth watering dish. I would definitely recommend this dish to anyone that attends the pub. As we were preparing for our checks a loud sound came from the front door, when in came a band of bagpipes and drums. They marched through the door and around the restaurant until the reached our table, they then circled our table and began to serenade us. It was amazing! It was an awesome surprise that ended a perfect night. The staff, food, and performances we received that night were terrific and I would definitely recommend Rula Bula to anyone looking for an amazing meal. I know my friends and I will be back very soon!

Old Irish looking bar, with a nice patio. Really great fish and chips and the bread pudding with whiskey sauceis outstanding. Also one of the very few places in the metro area that has Ace Pear Cider on tap.

The fish and chips was excellent. Best I’ve had in Arizona. Irish chips were good but some were undercooked for my taste. Will go back.

Wowed when I walked through the door. This place is huge. The ambiance is so warm and authentic. It’s nice. The bartender greeted me upon walking in. My server was really cool and knowledgable (a red head too ;)). Checked on me and always made real conversation. The Guinness is served the way it should be. The shepherd’s pie I had was delicious and the Brussel sprouts and apples are popular for a reason. Nom nom.

Been to the UK 3 times. The fish and chips is the best I’ve ever eaten. Don’t miss out on this place!

Great unique atmosphere, great service, great food and unique selection for being a Pub! I’d bring friends and family back.
