If you want to try a new Thai place other than Thai basil, in Tempe. This is the place to go nice ambient interior. The staff is very friendly and attentive! Lighting is good for dim setting dinner scenery. Menu is very optional meaning that it has many choices to choose from. Very flavorful food, from Thai hot which is my favorite if you are a spicy lover of foods, or to even mild for those not adventurous! What I recommend is the papaya salad, make sure you get a side of sticky rice if available or steamed rice is ok too! And the pad Thai is wonderful too! Will come back again soon! Enjoy!
THAI ELEPHANT BISTRO. Great menu offered here. I have so many favorite dishes to recommend starting with Pineapple Fried Rice. Order this with brown rice for a super hearty meal. It comes with pineapple, raisins, cashews, and yellow curry. It sounds like it may not work, I was apprehensive at first, but the flavors flow together so well. The King Garlic Chicken is sensational, I have no idea what they put in it but unique flavors explode with this dish. All of the appetizers are very good, especially the Elephant Shrimp. I also really appreciate the Kirin on Draft served in a frozen glass. I paid $3 but they are $2 during happy hour, 5-7pm. It’s one of those restaurants where you sit next to people dining next to you. Great place for a great meal at a low price.
