Just an excellent experience all the way around. Very authentic and very unique. So glad we stopped in. The food was amazing. We were actually headed to McDonald’s for a quick bite to eat for lunch and looked over and noticed it. So glad we did because I did not want McDonald’s. What a treat.
Good and plenty…but. I stopped by Sun after hiking nearby. the server suggested a few things and I ordered the carne asada plate w refried beans and rice. there was plenty of meat. it was flavorful, but predominantly the seasoning was salt and it was fairly over done. the beans were OK. the rice was good and the guac and sr cream were a bit disappointing.i will hesitate to go back and do not recommend. there must be better in town.

Delicious! We were headed to McDonald’s for a quick breakfast after getting to Sedona late the night before. We drove through the parking lot, saw Jose’s sign out front with the breakfast specials. My husband saw Huevos Rancheros on the sign and the next thing you know, we are ordering the breakfast specials. I had Blue Delight, which is blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon & sausage for 6.99! The only bad thing was that it was so big I couldn’t finish it all! My husband didn’t leave a drop of his Huevos Rancheros. He said it’s the only one that topped an order of it he had in New Mexico in 1988! The service was also excellent!
Are you kidding me?. NOT what I expected for a mexican restaurant in Arizona. Rice was mushy. Definitely not an enjoyable meal. Restaurant appeared unkempt. Wait staff were nice enough.
This is the best restaurant in Sedona by far! We have been coming here for years and the food is always delicious. Service is great and the owners are awesome. They have another restaurant also called the Golden Goose which is awesome too.
Food was very good and the service was very friendly and fast. It is a family owned business that should be given a chance. It’s nothing fancy which I found refreshing especially for Sedona.
