Much better. Clearly the heart line cafe has been working hard to create a better customer experience. The staff is attentive and the food quick. I am glad we gave them another try.28 Apr, 2014Food was good but the service was horrible. Our server acted like it was his first day ever and never had any experience in the service industry. We had to ask for silver ware after our food was finally brought to table. Don’t waste your money. There are plenty other fantastic options available in Sedona.
An abomination. Reservation at 7.15. Entree at 8.37. Ordered the local trout. When it arrived it looked like it had been cooked soon after we arrived. It was like something out of a cat food can. The manager refused to come to our table. She left the waiter to do her job. Nice touch. He comped almost the entire meal. When we left I asked again to speak to the manager. I told her quite simply how bad the entire night was. She had a meltdown! She was completely unable to handle criticism, unable to handle a problem with the table next to us, unwilling to come to our table to explain why the food was inedible, she should work somewhere where she has no responsibility and no customer contact. As for the two chefs – they should go bak to cooking school. This restaurant should be avoided until Gordon Ramsey has had a chance to make it better. Personally I would advise him not to try.
Had Christmas Day dinner here. The food was delicious. Awesome lamb shank. No assembly line cafeteria here. The staff was helpful but not overbearing.
We have visited this cafe several times and it has always been a reliable lunch spot. Kobe beef burgers are tasty and they have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch dishes.
Atmosphere was dark and dreary. Not very modern. Food was expensive for the quality.
Great food- worth a stop- try the Sedonna Sinrise
Easter disaster. We decided to try this place for Easter brunch and it was so disorganized it was comical. We arrived ten minutes before our 9 AM reservation and were politely seated outdoors in their nice patio as we were told they weren’t ready for us inside. Finally at about 9:15 we were allowed to be seated and were left to our own devices with no servers showing up for a good twenty minutes inside. With some other folks we fumbled trying to hold our plates while holding the lids to the food trays as there was no place to set them down. Finally someone came over and took them away. We later flagged down someone so we could get some salt and pepper and were finally served drinks 3/4 the way through our meal. I don’t think it is too much to ask for a glass of water or juice with breakfast! As we were getting ready to leave they were placing menus for omelettes to order, a nice option if we only knew…
