I love Goldsboro cakes and doughnuts. They are family tradition beginning with my first birthday (the year they opened!). My husband and I no longer live in Yuma, so we buy Goldsboro cakes whenever we have a special occasion while we are visiting. This weekend, we are buying our 9-year-old son and daughter a Goldsboro birthday cake.
Its all good. I cannot drive past 24th Street and Avenue A without stopping at Golsboros Bakery even if its to scrounge from the change dish enough to get a cookie or cupcake and say hi to Jan and the Girls. Everytime i go in i like to look at the artistic designs on the cakes people have ordered. A nice little stop when I am running errands.
