Wonderful Lunch spot. Been a few times. Loved the strawberry soup – in summer- and wonderful chicken salad sandwich. Great place for a Mom/daughter date or to meet up with some girlfriends. A bit too femine for the men in my life- but the fact it is a Tea Room likely gave that one away!
I’ve been coming here since I was little and it first opened, my mom knew the peole that used to own the crumpet when they only had one restaurant, their food is still amazing to this day! I get the chicken salad fruit plate with and orange roll the chicken salad is delicious, plain or on a croissant, their orange rolls are why I really come though! So gooey and sweet! Thinking about them makes my mouth water! They make the rolls fresh daily and only a certain amount so if you want one get there early! We always get a bag of the day old orange rolls and guess what? Eat them right out of the bag, or wait and heat them in a microwave they are still amazing no matter how long you’ve had them.. well until they start to mold!
So sweet. I always bring my mom here for orange rolls and tea. quiche is also always good. delicioussss. walking in for the first time, though is a little strange. because you order and pay for your meal before you sit down and before you eat it. no big deal. just a little different.
Crumpet Potato. I was surprised to see the change at the Crumpet last time I went it. It was a wonderful surprise. They now bring your food to your table and you no longer have to clear your own table. They have taken out the Coke machiene and have made it into a real tea room with multiple tea choices. The staff is much friendlier now and it is enjoyable to go in there now. My favorite dish is the crumpet potato, the green goddess dressing is perfect. The orange rolls are a nice compliment to the meal.

The orange rolls are excellent and the restaurant is fairly quiet. It’s a good place to eat alone when you have work to do or a book to read, but going with friends can be a challenge because their menu is somewhat limited and a bit expensive compared to other options.
Lovely. This decor in this place is very English Garden- Tea Time….not exactly where the guys would want to hang out. But I think both genders would love the food! Some of the best chicken salad I have ever had and the BEST home made orange rolls…you have to try one! And the quiche is really good too. I think they are only open for lunch.
