Im not the type to write a review even if the experience is subpar, but I had some heavy resistance in my heart about this one so here goes:In an effort to reduce cost and eat better, I decided to try this place based on public recommendations from Joe Wilson. Its 3 minutes away from one of my job sites (Walmart CMI) so to me, it was a worth a try.I order a Pick 3 Combo. I remembered getting chicken teriyaki, a pork item, and something else (this was three weeks ago, sorry). I also got an appetizer… some carb concoction with shrimp and cream cheese inside. On weekdays, I have to be in West Bentonville by 6:30 pm so I placed an order via phone at 5:30. He gave me some good recommendations and I felt adventurous that day so I tried them all.I left CMI at 6 pm and got to Hapas by 6:05. I told them I would be there around that time and in a hurry but I guess it fell on deaf ears.So heres when the f**kry begins:The individual at the register didnt know how to work the register. He didnt tell me the total of my order until he scanned my debit card. I made the mistake of not asking over the phone or before I gave him my card because I was in a hurried and annoyed that it was taking this guy forever to work the register. However, I did have a ballpark idea that a $12 entree plus a $3-5 appetizer would be $18, 19 tops. So when he told me the total was $23+ I knew there had to be a mistake. But a $6 error is no biggie. I figured the food would be good and I’ll just order tomorrow. He acknowledges the error they would comp me the difference on the next order, the next day. I was thinking this would be my future go-to for all my meal prep and mistakes happen, so whatever.I made it very clear to this cashier to communicate this discrepancy with management so we would be on the same accord when I ordered tomorrow. And he assured that he would communicate this matter. In fact, they were on their way in.He didnt.I ordered the next day and the women I spoke to had no idea what was going on. It took her 15-20 minutes to find my receipt and calculated the excess amount I paid. I was so turned off by the entire situation and the quality the food from the day before that I asked to be refunded the errored amount. I told her that I had high hopes and was disappointed but I would let it go if they rectified the situation immediately and put the $6 in my account. She assured me that this would happen.I have yet to receive the six dollars. And its not about the money. Its the principal. Dont say youre going to do this and that and handle this situation with urgency and then not do it. As a former business owner, I know integrity is everything in maintaining customer loyalty. The food was a complete disappointment. Not from taste (however, I did taste regret), but from the terrible protein to carb ratio. You get more meat from Panda Express or even the $9 meal kits they sell at Walmart.I ate the entire $23 meal just to be hungry 2 hours later. Ive never had that problem before. The cost, even if at its correct price, is not justifiable. Theres some taste, slightly about average, but the meal was all filler.Back to the experience. So on this day where the female employee guaranteed the refund that I never got, I suffer an almost dismal experience from Eureka Pizzas. The devil must have been testing me that day because they would eventually screw up order too. But how they rectified the situation speaks volume and they will forever have my loyalty. So I ordered a 3 topping pizza: 2 beef and 1 sausage topping. I got to Eureka’s Pizza just to find that an associate thought my meat-heavy pizza was one of the basic $6 pizzas and an ended giving away my order to a customer. I was livid. But Eureka’s management apologized for the matter, refunded immediately (I ordered online), and gave me a free pizza and garlic butter to fix the matter. The $10 total was back in my account instantly, and I got an email confirming the order cancellation. So, my experience with Hapas was pretty much trash. The food was meh. Protein to carb ratio is disappointing but maybe yours will be different.

Nice to have a Hawaiian restaurant in the area especially with the cool laidback beach feel they now have in downtown Rogers. Hawaiian food is similar to what Id call Japanese influenced comfort food. They serve the standards, Loco Moco, Chicken Katsu, Kalua Pork etc. I really enjoyed their Kalbi Ribs, short ribs in a teriyaki sauce on fried rice with cabbage ramen salad and potato macaroni salad. The ribs were perfectly cooked medium and tender as this style gets. The Coconut Shrimp were another tasty delight that came four in a bowl over rice. The sides were good as was the friendly service. Prices were decent and it looks like they have live music too.
