In the last three weeks we have eaten dinner here twice and lunch once. However, the meal I’m going to review was when we took my grown children out to eat and celebrate two of their birthdays. Shoguns allowed me to bring in two cakes. Each child’s favorite. They took them into the back and at the end of our very good meal, brought both out along with the happy birthday song. We had a wonderful time and as always, thoroughly enjoyed the food! Thank you Shoguns!

Terrible. In addition to being a foodie, I’ve been to Japan on several occasions and have a minor in Japanese language. Needless to say, I know what to expect from a Japanese restaurant. I ordered the chicken katsu here and was boggled by what arrived on my plate. it was supposed to come with breaded fried chicken, soup and rice. Which isn’t that far off from Japan. Instead, in addition, I got fried shrimp, butter garlic pasta, fried vegetables, an orange wedge, and a cabbage salad on top of a deep fried flour tortilla dripping with oil. plus, the katsu sauce was too Little and the miso was way too salty. Not only did that completely ruin the flavor palate of what should be a delicious simple dish, it also made it completely non-Japanese. While the sushi my date got was one of the better sushis I’ve had, I cannot find anything positive about my experience here.
Fun. This is place is usually a lot of fun. Kids like it, too. It’s a little pricey for the food in my opinion, but we still enjoy it. Great white sauce here!

Menus were very dirty and unappetizing. The soft shell crab was over fried in what tasted like older oil. everything was drowning in a sweet sauce. what happened to this place? Just another disappointing hibachi grill.
In the last few years the sides have changed slightly. I liked the old menu better. But it’s still good food, fun entertainment, funny staff. Little pricey.
