Terrible.. This used to be my favorite mexican food in Conway. They changed their delicious hot sauce last year from Albert famous to some nasty cilantro filled watery mess that is awful. Seems like after that change happened, the restaurant went down. We have been twice this year, once in April on a Sunday, we were seated quickly but ordering, getting our food, and paying the check took an hour and a half. I went again a couple of weeks ago and there were only 4 other tables filled. We ordered and had to repeat our very simple order to the waiter several times. We waited and waited and waited, after about an hour we got half of our food. I complained to the manager and waited another 30 minutes and got my order, but it was not correct. The waiter blamed the kitchen. The manager blamed the waiter. After being there for 2 hours with two kids (who were very well behaved despite having to sit there for so long) they still charged us full price for our cold food. Never ever returning to Cactus Jacks.
My friends used to work at cactus jacks mexican resturant in conway. The owner/manager said she wasnt gonna pay them and if they didnt like it they could hit the road. So they left. She now hired new people to cook. They food now is gross. Everyone is leavin that tries the food. She downs the workers and treats them with no respect so they walked out and is now sittin outside the resturant drinkin beer. They need a new manager/owner.
Not good. I have given Cactus Jacks a few tries but each visit has been worse than the last. The food is sub-microwave quality and the service is tolerable at best. Their alcoholic drinks are almost insulting, at least 95% mix with barely a trace of liqueur! I won’t be giving them another chance.
Slow service, edging on rude! Food was not that good to me. There are much better Mexican places around to go to.
