Out if the chicken my wife ordered. Terrible service from the top down abd the restaurant was slow. Waiter said the broccoli wasn’t yet done when he brought out my wife’s well done steak. After she was done eating I finally told the manager she was done eating and hadn’t got her side yet. He just asked what it was and walked away. 3-4 minutes later the waiter brought out some lukewarm broccoli that wasn’t recently cooked. No apology…nothing!The table behind us had to ask why their salads didn’t come out before the meal as they asked. The waiter said the kitchen was still working on them…either a lie or just pitiful!
Terrible. I had not eaten at a Cracker Barrel in about 4 years – and now I remember why: the food is horrible. Ordered the Country Breakfast and the eggs were under cooked, grits were cold, the biscuits & gravy were bland and to top it all off, the service was extremely lacking. Will not be going back to a Cracker Barrel. Ever.
