Julies ruined my husbands graduation party. I ordered a pretty simple cake – 1/4 sheet cake with Arkansas Tech green and yellow decorations. I was told the cake would be ready by 3:00 PM. I got there early and was told they were still working on it. I said that was fine because I was early. Then I was told that the store would call me when it was ready. 3:30 rolled around, still no call so I went back to the store. I was rudely told give us 10 or 15 more minutes. 3:45 came and I went back to the window and was presented with a supermarket quality cake with a Julies price tag on it. I was seriously disappointed in the lack of care that was obviously used in decorating his cake. There was no attempt to make it up to us for the 45 minute delay nor the slapped on icing on the cake. All I received was a half hearted sorry. I have bought many cakes from Julies and I have NEVER seen a cake like that leave the store. Julies lost a customer that day.
