I first came to this place after my friend recommended it to me. She’s Mexican, and she insisted that her family refused to eat anywhere else. I could tell after leaving that I’d hit the jackpot. The food is AMAZING and very well priced. I love the design of the place, it feels like I’ve been dropped into Mexico for an hour. The staff was very funny and friendly. My family always jokes about this one waiter that sprinter back and forth across the resteraunt with the food. Great family place, highly recommend.
Always had great service and good food
Cilantro-free salsa. I have ate here a handful of times with my family and we’ve only had one bad dining experience here. The last time we ate here a waitress pretty much forgot about us and a quick meal took us about an hour and a half. Usually, though, we are in and out pretty quickly, and I like to give places another try before I give up on them completely. This last time the service was excellent. The food is good and standard. I prefer their salsa to other places just because I’m not a fan of cilantro, and they stay away from it in theirs. The free chips are decent – no salt, yet never really all that warm, but, again, the salsa is really yummy.Their carnitas are usually on point, and they give you four tortillas to go with them, where most other places only give you three, and they asked me if I wanted more. Their lunch tamale plate is very filling. Their sides (beans and rice) are not that seasoned which is good for my little kid, yet some people may not like that. The only thing I didn’t like was their sopapilla, which was flat and crunchy with ice cream on it instead of the light, pillow-like sopapillas I am used to. Yet some people may really like it that way. All in all a decent place for food.
Las Palmas will kiss your belly….. There’s nothing new here – but you didn’t want anything new, did you? You just wanted your Mexican itch scratched. Welp, they gots the good Mexican food exactly how you wanted it to be.My Partner in Kryme and I have actually been here 4 or 5 times. Once and only once, the waitress obviously had her mind a million miles away and didn’t get tipped as a result, but whatev. The majority of the time this place is cool, and that’s enough for me. And of course, unlimited chips.GET SOME!
