Nothing special. The servi…. Nothing special. The service was excellent. The food is not. Very bland entrees that could easily be made more appetizing. Overpriced in general but also considering how little attention is given to the meal. I wouldn’t refuse to eat there if someone wished but I definitely won’t be going back on my own accord.
The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Zero complaints about anyone who works here. It was a seamless meal for a large group, but…the food was not good. One had an order of chicken pasta, it was so flooded in sauce and no chicken. Hardly any veggies, just pasta. I had the spicy shrimp tacos. There were 2 shrimp tops on each taco. There was no visible spice or char, pretty flavorless alone. The taco was full of raw red cabbage which is insanely bitter and raw onions. The tortillas were corn and were raw. They need a little heat to bring out the flavor. The sweet potato fries were cold and not cooked through. We had lettuce wrap appetizers, which was also too salty. The tortilla chips that came with spinach dip were stale and rubbery. All in all we went home hungry.

When we lived in Little Rock, we would make up excuses to drive to Conway to eat here! Now that we live 2.5 hours away, we’re still participating in events that allow us to go to this area, so we can eat here! 😀
Neat place to eat. This is one of two restaurants we eat at when in conway. We always get the same things and we always love it. Save room for the chocolate mess.
It is what it is – not bad. I find most of what I order to be good. The menu is too large and it would do them well to cut it down, but it is called The Marketplace. Service is friendly but time can be a problem for some, although if you use your head it doesn’t take much to know what to order when you are in a bit of a hurry. I prefer to slow down when I eat out so time is relative. If I’m in a hurry I know where to go – McD’s, Burger King or Wendy’s – get with it. Not a first choice, but when I’m in the area and looking to eat it does just fine.
We had Marketplace cater our wedding reception and they did a fabulous job! Food was perfect – beef and chicken medallions, sweet green beans, berry salad, and garlic mashed potatoes 🙂 I highly recommend them for event catering!!
