Nice little sushi joint in a strip mall, very friendly service from all the staff, and a wide selection of sushi and sashimi. Sunday had a nice crowd rolling in the door, and the place was packed by noon. Our selections of Hawaiian and King Kong rolls were both delicious, however my wife and I ended up swapping rolls, as we like the other better. Something about the decor was off-putting for me, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Overall, a great sushi place. The restroom on the other hand, needs some work.

Best sushi in Conway, maybe even best in Arkansas. Used to love Umami sushi until I tried Naru. Great selection, very fresh fish. Will be eating here at least once a week, if not more!

Wonderful weekday lunch option!. Just came back from my first visit to Naru – and there will DEFINITELY be many more to come! Enjoyed the lunch hibachi special with shrimp and it was delicious, quick AND affordable. I was with a party of 8, so I was expecting a wait, but we got in and out quickly. Naru is highly recommended!

An hour and a half wait. The food was fantastic, although it was probably even better hot. I ordered around 2:20 on a Sunday afternoon and didn’t get my order until a little after four. I live ten minutes away. Plus, they forgot my salad. NOT a happy customer.

Great experience. I love Naru Sushi and Grill. The food is great and the service is even better. It’s a great place to just sit and enjoy a good meal with friends or family. It’s worth every penny.

Relaxing. I had a really great experience at Naru. Our waitress was wonderful. I got water but my husband demanded that I try his tea and it was a delicious iced green tea. We ordered the dumpling appetizer and two sushi rolls. The waitress shortly brougth us a small basket of chips and a light guacamole dip. It was unexpected, very light, free, and pretty tastey. Not long afterwards she brought us each a bowl of very flavorful miso (also surprisingly free – I assume since we bought so much?). The dumplings were warm and crispy when they arrived. They came with a slightly sweet dipping sauce (maybe soy sauce and hoisin?). The dumplings were just right. Not overly plump and the crisp outside paired with the sauce made me really happy. Of course we nibbled through our dumplings way too fast and it was a short, pleasant wait before out sushi came out. I really enjoyed looking around at the cherry blossoms (yeah yeah they’re fake, but still pretty). They have some really neat art on the wall that looked like someone there had personally made them, so those were cool to look at. The backs of the chairs were really comfortable and the seat slightly plush (the one thing I don’t like about la huerta and los potrillos are their hard booths). We ordered the yellowtail roll and the finding a nemo roll. Their yellowtail didn’t disappoint me. It had the subtle flavor I was looking for paired with the sweet taste of the rice and paper. I enjoyed it. It’s nice to have such a basic roll on your plate when you get a roll like the find a nemo roll. It had a lot of my favorite things going on. I LOVED the seaweed salad that was on top of the roll. It has this fun, crisp texture that is very enjoyable to eat. For my first few pieces, I ate the roll starting with the seaweed texture, which eventually mixed with the spicy crab (I think) at the top middle of the roll, then the bottom of the roll was kind of my palet cleanser. I can’t wait to go back and try a few other dishes off their menu. The tacos seem very interesting, the table beside us had a colorful noodle dish, and the little boy on our other side seemed to think the fried rice was worthy of his attention (he was really quiet once he got his food). Overall, I’d recommend this place to others. It’s different and sometimes that is really nice.
