Terrible!!. I CANNOT understand the good reviews. It was terrible. The sweet and sour sauce was a thick as strawberry jam, I’ve never seen that before! We got the happy family, almond chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour was so heavily breaded you had no clue what you were eating. The rest had dark meat chicken! I wish I had known to ask. Even had it been white, the flavor was so greasy tasting. Strange. The wontons had abt a 1/8 tsp of filling. The vegetable egg roll had the strangest spicy taste. My husband will eat anything and he even hated. It reminded me of the cheapest quality buffet. I was terribly disappointed! We love Asian but the choices in town are lacking for sure. When will restaurants realize that they don’t have to just cater to the buffet loving crowd? Would love a quality, health conscious Asian restaurant. I would pay more for quality anyday over quantity!!!
Connie. Best Oriental food I have ever had the pleasure to eat. We always call in our order and it is ready on time. The staff is very friendly, great for take out but not dining in.
Love it! Takes a little while to get the food but totally worth it.
Best Chinese Food in Ctown. These are the same folks that ran Fu Lin on Farris Rd for a long time. Literally grew up eating her food every week. Everything always made fresh and it shows in the flavor. People always complain about waiting here, I say tough! Its worth the wait and the owner, Diane, is always sooo nice. And I know its in the same building as a gas station, but its just a mental thing you have to get over. I do not reccommend attempting to eat there, maybe they will get some outside tables eventually? Actually have a friend that comes to Conway from LR to get take out here! He lived here for several years and got hooked on it. She even remembers his voice on the phone and can recall his name! My only small, miniscule complaint is that she changed her eggrolls a few years ago to these skinny ones that aren’t as big. Overall, the best chinese food in town. You can even order a few items off menu……
Admittedly, the idea of a Japanese restaurant that’s attached to a gas station isn’t exactly appealing on paper. But, really…give this place a chance. For $8, you get enough food for 3 meals (especially if you get fried rice). The quality of meat is higher than Jade China and most other Japanese restaurants I’ve had in Conway. Food is ready incredibly fast and they are very, very nice people. A++
Oriental Kitchen is owned by a small family and they have the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. They are super clean and give the biggest portions ever. You can eat your meal for days if you want. They are pretty cheap, and super clean. It is mostly take out, as it is a Tiny room attached to a gas station. I you live in Conway and haven’t tried Oriental Kitchen, you are definitely missing out!
Pricey???. Where can you go for take out and have almost 3 meals for $8? Always great, hot fresh food. My one complaint is they aren’t open for lunch. Love it.
