This place smells like dirty mop water and stale alcohol / beer.. It needs a good cleaning.and maybe some brighter lighting. Also if the wait staff pretended to care at all, that would help.
Not worth it. Food was cold and greasy. I asked for a to go box so I could heat up my steak at home. I accidentally left the box on the table and realized this by the time we made it to the lobby at the front. I turned around immediately to go back to retrieve it and it was gone. I flagged down the waiter and was told it had been trashed already and that nothing could be done. Nobody bothered flagging us down and it hadn’t even been a full minute since we had walked away from the table! Talk about a waste of money…
Absolute worst management. The Conway outback steakhouse should be closed! The times that I have visited there, I keep hoping things will be different than the last visit, but the management there is the root of the problem! I don’t know who made the manager Jeremy one of the leaders at that store but he has absolutely no management skills. The fillet steaks are always stringy, overpriced, and never cooked to the right temperature. The servers always look rundown (probably from the screaming management I have heard in the kitchen on occasion). I would never recommend this place to anyone! Such a disappointment!!
Not worth the money. I cannot even begin to tell you how many levels of disappointment this place has been for my family. I’ve been twice (only because I was given gift cards by friends). During our 1st visit, my wife and my son’s fiance ordered the same sirloin dish. My wife ordered hers medium and the fiance ordered well done. When the steaks came out, the well done steak was HALF the size of the medium cooked steak. It was plainly visible. When we showed this to the manager (who could not have cared less), his reason for the size portions was due to how it was cooked. REALLY!??? The difference of 60 seconds on the grill will reduce it by half, I don’t think so. We decided to give these guys another chance since anyone can have a bad night (and I did have another gift card to use). The short story version, it wasn’t any better. I ordered the filet (which is expensive here) and I will swear it was the same cut of meat as my wife’s sirlion. This piece of meat was the consistency of my leather boot. I’ve had skillet flanks that required less sawing / chewing. I have since found out from a friend of mine (who is in wholesale food distribution) that outback orders B grade meat and charges an A grade price. There are so many other places close by that have delicious steaks for the same / less money, that there is no reason to waste my time and my friends money there :). I have made my friends aware that unless the gift card comes with a 50% coupon (they do have decent mixed drunks), don’t waste your money here.
Nope. Definitely a waste of money. Won’t go back
Horrid, this was the worst OSI chain I have been to in the US. The manager was very rude about the draft beer and bottles being completely out. His name was Phil and ignored our table entirely. The waitress’s Ashley was the only factor to mitigate this disaster of an evening. Overall, service/operations a 0/10.
Went to the outback tonight. Had to wait a little bit to be sat, but was worth the wait for sure. Still the best steak in town for the money and the service is always great.
