Great food and fun atmosphere. Tons of TVs to watch the game. Definitely get the grilled combo basket. It’s great! Cheese dip and salsa is pretty good too.
Not bad, but not good either. Very so-so food. The staff was friendly, but had to be prompted to refill drinks, and the steak was ordered medium and sent back rare. It came out the second time still rare. I get much better surf and turf at several major chain steakhouses for almost half the price. I’m sorry, but I wasn’t impressed at all.
The food was amazing, we got oysters to share. And then the steak was perfectly cooked. The service was wonderful, our waiter was hilarious and very attentive. And drinks from bar were delicious.
Food was really good but it was over priced for lunch. We only had 2 shrimp baskets and it was over $30.00. However, service was great and very friendly.
The food is good and and the staff and servers really try to do all they can to create a family friendly environment, both helpful and courteous. When they first opened, it was a little rough – along with long waits because of its popularity upon first arriving in Conway. However, since then pace of the restaurant has greatly improved where there is hardly a wait, and the kitchen is putting out great food.
If you’re looking for a good time avoid this restaurant.Quick Bullet points before I get into the review-Portions sizes are atrocious for the price (Ordered the Grilled Combo: 3 tiny shrimp, a filet that looks more like a sushi serving than a filet of salmon, and 3 oysters that tasted like they have been sitting in a steamer for hours.)-Quality of food is very poor (For $23+ per head if you are ordering seafood, I would expect a higher quality product.)-Presentation is terrible (The food looked as thought it was literally thrown on a massive plate with little regard to the Aesthetics.) -Seating is crowded and claustrophobic inducing. So I took my Girlfriend to this place since we always saw a crowd lined up out the door for it. I wanted to know what all the hype was about. Being originally from CA I am pretty big into the surf and turf style of meal. What I wasn’t expecting was an overcrowded barn of people moshed so closely you didn’t have room to breathe. We mulled over the menu briefly and figured we generally prefer avoiding anything fried; so we ordered the grilled combo platter. Now this place was already pretty expensive based on the price tag and we generally prefer to share meals between one another. This is usually because most places serve over the top portion sizes for the price tag. (Assume around $15-$20 range for measure)When our meal arrived we ordered the two sides as salads which tasted like they were drowned with the entire bottle of dressing. (If I was going to go back, I’d be sure to ask for it on the side.) The rest of the meal however was quite the site to behold. The shrimp were nothing more than cocktail sized shrimp that looked like they were taken from a Sam’s Club Freezer bag and had some old bay seasoning slapped on them. On top of that, there was literally only three of them. Now I understand this is a sampler platter, but this is seriously cutting corners even for a landlocked state. The Salmon was over-seasoned beyond recognition to the point you couldn’t even taste the fish. If I had to wager a guess, I’d probably figure it was because the fish was kept in a freezer for an extended period of time than most restaurants do. (Seriously, if Umami’s down near Oak Street can deliver quality seafood products for less than this, there is no excuse. Then the dread oysters came to the table and there was many regrets to be had. On top of the fact these oysters tasted like they were overcooked, they were also cold by the time they arrived to our table. I specifically ordered the mozzarella and bacon bits variant as a precaution. (It still wasn’t enough.)The TLDR of this review? Avoid this place, there are far better locations in Conway to get Seafood. If they deliver a better product then I might consider adjusting my review. I will not be returning and everyone in my personal network will be getting the same message.
