I’m waiting and waiting and waiting! B. I was hoping for a good home cooked breakfast. I saw the breads in the front case that they make french toast out of. Mouth was watering. Well it continued to water and all I got to wash it down with was the tea that I finally got from a server that I had to flag down. I had to flag another server down to take my order. After about 30 minutes I finally asked someone who seemed to be in charge. Someone finally brought me a syrup but that was all I got. My time limit was at an end. If the owner’s are reading this you need to close down now and save yourself the money that you will loose in the future. By the way I’m typing this from IHOP who is taking care of me like I should be taken care of.
Bring Somethin’ Brewing back!. It is a shame that an old icon of the Conway eatery scene is in such a horrible shape. I went there this weekend with my family for the first time since the change of management/ownership. It will also be our last one. Mediocre food, INCOMPETENT service, and by far one of our most painful experiences in a restaurant. It took 30 minutes for us just to get a cup of coffee. And when we finally got it, one of the mugs was so chipped and broken around the edges that I would not have even used it to feed my cat. When I pay to eat out, as a rule of thumb I like to avoid stitches to my mouth. But the worst was yet to come…When the food FINALLY arrived, I made the terrible mistake of trying to ask for a refill on my coffee. I had to ask THREE TIMES to three different waiters and ONE HOUR later I was still sitting there waiting for the miracle of coffee to happen. And in case you are wondering…NO, I NEVER GOT IT. Yep, that’s right! I was in a COFFEE SHOP that was not able to give me a warm-up on my coffee.Funny thing is that I am a very patient person; way more patient than the 5 gentlemen sitting across from us, who after 20 minutes of waiting for menus or even just a sign of acknowledgment from the staff, got up and went to give their business somewhere else. One and a half hours of breakfast. ONE cup of coffee and biscuits and gravy have never been such a torture.
Bad service, tasteless frozen burn yet cold served food. This place was amazing last summer when I went to eat there. My friends and I had lunch there once a week topping 8-10 people and the cook was amazing at getting our food on time and hot… not to mention the taste OH lord what a cook! But the OH DISAPPOINTMENT when last time we went there. I am not sure what happened to it! Service has decline and food…what happened to the cook?! Rumor has it that they let go the past cook…terrible mistake!!!!! Only if they knew coffee could save them but can’t even work an expresso machine. Don’t bother, I can buy my own frozen breakfast and terrible coffee and at least it would be warm and on time…terrible waste of time.
This place needs to close doors for good!. Was at this restaurant about 3 months ago and the food was really good…eggs benedict my fav…service sucked to put it mildly. Went back late December and had same…eggs benedict…and it was really tasteless. I asked about the kitchen staff change and rumor had it that the original cook had left. REally too bad Now not only does the service suck but the food does too. Will not go back…not worth the wait or hard earned money.
Terrible, terrible, terrible!. I made a trip from Little Rock just to eat here. I was very disappointed in wasting my time and my gas! The service was terrible and the food was worse! I don’t know how they have made it this far. The reviews I read online were great but now I realize they must have posted their reviews themselves or paid for good reviews. The food was was burnt yet cold. The service was slow and the waitress didn’t have a personality and seemed to not care about getting a tip. I will NEVER go back and will tell everyone I know to not waste their time and money!
Wholly Disappointing Breakfast. I was a frequent patron at Something Brewing when it was open, and after reading the Patio Cafe reviews here I was excited to see it’s makeover! While the inside looks great (if a little less eclectic) the food and service were just a shame. On a rainy Sunday morning with only three other tables my family of four waited 45 minutes for eggs and toast. It took 10 minutes to get coffee, and then another ten to order. I overheard the table of two next to us comment on the wait – half an hour, and they were the first table to sit. When we finally did get the food it was apparent it had been sitting out for several minutes – everything was cold. The toast tasted freezer burned and the hashbrowns were cold and soggy. I really hope they can organize themselves soon, I always love the opportunity to support local businesses but I won’t be back for breakfast.
Something Brewing go an upgrade.Been a while since I needed breakfast in Conway and was surprised to find SB had been replaced…pleasantly surprised as it turned out. They don’t have quite as extensive or eclectic of a menu but what is on the menu is even better than it was before. I was also pleased to see The Patio Cafe opens earlier than SB did since that will expand my chances to eat there.Shared the multigrain pancakes and an order of biscuits and gravy with my better half and both were excellent and filling.
