Bad lunch experience. Probably a one off experience due to server. We had an hour for lunch eventually asked to just pack food as take out after 40 min. Server was friendly but did not turn in order promptly. We got a discount but my lunch was in plastic tub so I didn’t have an easy way to eat it. BTW food was no good.
Ask for the hot pepper powder. They make it themselves& the flavor is excellent, good amount of heat. They call Jalapeo 4 of 5* but the dishes taste great& the powder adds the heat you’re craving
Thai food is easily one of my favorites so I was thrilled to find this place while staying downtown a short walk from my hotel. I visited several times over the week and enjoyed the food thou I have had better Thai in the area. What they do have is ambiance, a trendy urban / world vibe that makes it something more of an experience dining here I truly liked. The service was good from each of my different servers, the food came quick and as requested, spicy. What was missing was a standout dish, something special to set Taste Of Thai apart from the rest. That being said everything I did try was good and that coupled with the atmosphere and service makes this a good stop downtown for lunch or diner.
Got the Panang Curry, as this is my go to Thai dish, and it was pretty good. In my opinion ThepThai is the better of the two though as far as the food goes. A taste of thai is in a nice location though and has a nice patio. I would come back to this location for sure, but only if Thep Thai was closed.
So many people have recommended this restaurant and I have to agree. Great flavors; I ordered the pad se ew and it was delicious. Also love the ambiance.
Don’t bother. This used to be a great place to eat but it is the worst! We got a couple of their dishes with noodles and it was floating in water. Dreadful, will never go back again. Don’t waste your time or money
Horrible Wait!. My husband and I waited 10 minutes after being seated till I finally asked for water. 4 ladies came in after us and after another 8 minutes they left! We have finally ordered but at this point we have no idea if we are going to wait!! … Still no food
