Pleasantly surprised. I really expected to be disappointed. Brew pub that serves Gastropub fare. I expected it to be long on promise and short on good food.I was wrong. The menu is solid. Lunch menu is loaded with great sandwiches and other options. I love the French Dip. They make very good fresh chips. I see many people eating the Fish and Chips but I find them to be a little greasy. The bar area is incredibly nice. They also have a nice pool table and everything looks over the brewing rooms. The beer is actually quite solid too. They offer flights and rotate beers quite often.
I love this place, they have great service and great food. The Alfredo with Cajun chicken is amazing, I think the Alfredo sauce is excellent and I would recommend this to everyone. The appetizers are always great, their beer cheese dip is so good – one of my favorites. This place is a great hang out with a friendly atmosphere.
Wonderful atmosphere to enjoy your meal. The amount of food equals the price and the taste speaks for itself. Wonderfully prepared meals with a decorative flare. The space is open with a great view of the outdoors. Menu has a little of everything.
Straight and to the point: The Cubano sandwich was good. The French Dip had no flavor — even with the au jus. The fries are delicious. The service was good, but I was apart of a table for two around 2:30 PM on a Monday — we were the only table there ordering food. The beer is like something my brother and I used to make from online beer kits for beginners. As for the beer. Well, if you know anything about the local beers in NWA, you probably know that the breweries attempt to brew too many styles of beers, and consequently have yet to produce one really good beer. I know the local brews are gaining popularity, but I wouldn’t chalk it up to quality (more likely the lack of options). Apple Blossom beers are no exception. Too many styles and none are something I would order again. The India Pale Lager has a great presentation, but that’s about it. The smell is something like burned hops and bad malt, and the taste is flat and leaves a syrupy taste even with proper carbonation. The American Pale Ale doesn’t even look good. It comes out without a head, is flat and tastes like burned hops and malt as well. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to a friend for its beer for fear of being judged as someone with a lack of beer knowledge, but I would recommend it for its Cubano sandwich if you’re really looking for a solid, hard to mess up bite to eat. My suggestion to the Apple Blossom brewmaster: Keep it simple. Master one or two beers before trying your hand at so many. Offer one or two solid beers, and sell other brews as well in case someone like me wants to drink beer and hates what you have to offer (it cost your restaurant some money!).
A really neat selection of house made beer, and a really nice menu with great choices. The Cuban sandwich here is amazing. Well cooked and very tasty. The shrimp appetizer was also very, very good. Great place if not a bit out of the way — well worth it.
Potential but miss. Has the potential to be good but it seamed like the staff and cooks where only paying half attention. Got our apitizer wrong and one of the meals was missing half of what it said would come with it. The cheese fries where good and the loaded potatoes where awesome. Some good some bad and some great.
Stopped for lunch and a beer. All foods seem to be out of a frozen bag of some kind and with prepared hot sauce and soggie fries was not impressed and probably will not return
