Im not sure there is a better fine dining dinner restaurant for a meal followed by a night on Dickson. Here’s what I like: The Mussels… if they have them on the menu, get them! great appetizer and fun to split between friends. Meatballs are also a good appetizer. The 2 staple dishes are the 1) beef rigatoni… its a safe play for someone thats trying Bordinos for the first time. The 2) is the Duck Breast, Duck breast is the gem here, if your feeling adventurous go for it. you won’t have a problem finding a wine you like either.
A beautiful restaurant with a nice setting for a special dinner. A very nice bar area with very good drinks also. We were greeted nicely and told the restaurant was booked for the evening and we would need to eat at the bar or on the patios even though there were just a few people there. We started with the charcuterie tray and it was just ok. Then the tomato cream soup and it was good. Then we had the lasagna with basil sauce, crab cake and salmon pasta. All were ok but nothing special. A little disappointing, especially for the price.11/2018 back with my family for lunch and had a great experience. We were seated promptly and greeted by a very pleasant and attentive server. We ordered an assortment of items and everyone enjoyed what they had. There was a special today that was a very thick tomato based dish with a sausage and 2 over easy eggs that was extremely good. We finished off lunch with a tiramisu that was excellent also. A great experience and service today so I am upping my rating.
NWA Food Critic Undercover. Visited first time recently, yes, even though they have been in business for a long time. Dined in a group. I recommend the valet parking. Nice to not have to drive around for an hour to find a place to park. A little disappointed in the seating that evening. It was like they were trying to cram everyone in a small area. The food was good but I feel way over priced for what you get. Our waitress was very nice and attentive but was also a friend of one of the people in our party.
Unfortunate experience. We have been to Bordinos multiple times and have always enjoyed our meal and experience. Unfortunately they changed there chef and the food was well below the norm. I would go as far as sub par food and experience. The waiter was hovering and sweaty We have always loved Bordinos and hope they can figure this out quickly. The new chef is not working!
Poorly managed hosting. Sunday brunch floor and table management is a mess, reserved tables remain empty while people wait. Some remaining empty while we sit, eat and leave. Confused wait staff on what was just requested. Long wait for service. At this point the quality of the food is irrelevant.
Disappointed customer. I had booked an overpriced private room for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary dinner. Angela, the events coordinator, assured me they could accommodate our relatively small party. Thec at the last minute, only three days before the event, she canceled our private room with the lame excuse that it was a game weekend and they were expecting large crowds. It’s not even a home game so what difference would that make ? I felt the whole thing was mishandled and Angela was very unprofessional.
