Good Food to GO. Im kind of 50/50 on this place. I really like their food, especially the ribeye, but the service is usually horrible at this particular location. We have left several times upset about nothing more than the service, or lack thereof. We got this great idea to always order our food to go, and enjoy it at home and not have to get mad about the service. I have to say this is about the only way we will eat Coltons. But if you have all day go inside, their steaks are really good.
I got the Lonesome Burger and it was a thin piece of meat, bun was cold and tomato looked horrible. This was a sub par $1.99 burger, NOT a almost $8 burger. The Smashed Potatoes were cold as well, but they tasted good. It was not a burger I expected from Colton’s at all. Poor quality burger.
I was skeptical to eating here upon entering the parking lot seeing as how the parking lot was only about half full, however I am glad that I did. I had one of the best steak dinners that I have had in a long time. My server, Taylor, was by far the best waiter that I have had at any restaurant here in fayetteville. He was well versed in the menu and was able to help me pick meals for both me and my wife. I would highly recommend the ribeye and shrimp. The steak was cooked to perfection and the grilled shrimp was the perfect addition to an excellent meal. Overall, my dining experience was very good despite my earlier hesitation.
Quality, Inexpensive Ribeye. I have always enjoyed Colton’s for it’s affordable steaks. You can get a huge, tender 16 oz. ribeye for about $20. That same cut of meat at more upscale steak joints is much higher. I’m a big eater, so for affordable large cuts I go here. They typically manage to cook it as you order it as well.I have been to several Colton’s locations, this one definitely isn’t the best, but it’s not bad. I also enjoy their country fried steak with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes.
MMMmm Rolls. I have been to some similar places before, but I never experienced a Colton’s until I moved to Fayetteville. I love the rolls. The prices aren’t to bad, but I usually get the same thing every time I go; the chicken fried steak. I like it, So this is the place I go when I want something fried.
