Great food and believe it or not, the portions are too big. Had the braised pork belly and it was so rich, I couldn’t finish it. Had the smoke duck breast and I was blown away. I was told it was smoked in-house and they are using the smoker to experiment with for an upcoming menu change since they have an new Exec Chef. Also told the hotel and Ella’s will be getting a complete facelift coming sometime at the end of the year.
I’ve been to Ella’s for lunch and really enjoyed my food. I had a burger and the portion was just right while the burger was juicy and flavorful. On the other hand two people dining with me ordered the Caesar salad and though it was advertised as a full entre they did not find it to be filling enough for a meal.
Great brunch – especially the salmon lox bagels and Eggs Benedict! Definitely a must visit for catching up with friends and having some mimosas!
