Nice to see a long-time family run business still doing its thing after many years. Their thing being burgers, the old style diner burger that was fast food before there were drive-throughs. I kept spying Feltners as I was attending a real estate class at Sunrise Guitars across the street. They are something of a local legend so I had to give it a try. The place is well kept and clean, nothing fancy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I opted for the Shroom Swissalaka Burger and got a double. At first bite I was impressed. All the ingredients worked well together but stood up on their own as well. Thin, flat-top burger patties can get dry quick but these were not over-cooked and were well seasoned. I loved the mushrooms. They were meaty and again seasoned and tasty. The fries were not as impressive. Fried well but may have come from a bag. I didnt try the onion rings but they too (from pictures) look pre-made. Older reviews seem to point to cheap prices. I would not say that applies anymore. My burger, fries and drink came to just under $13 before tip. While not outrageous Ive paid the same for a gourmet burger before. Still I enjoyed my lunch and Im sure I will return to try another burger or hot dog in the future.

Consistency is amazing, I have never had a bad meal from here in my 10+ visits. Definitely check this place out if you’re hungry for a burger. You’ll realize what you’ve been missing!
