I used to frequent Formosa mainly due to their delivery service but their quality really began to lag over the past year or two. I was delivered sweet and sour pork with no sauce or rice on one occasion and the prices can be quite high for the quality.
Good food, great atmosphere, but highly overpriced.
Above and beyond service. I work late and long hours. A friend of mine loves this restaurant. She was hospitalized and was instructed not to eat for three days. At the end of of her eating restrictions, cashew chicken from Formosa is all she wanted. I called at 1:45 pm asking if they delivered. They instructed me they don’t until 5:30. I told them my delima, they then immediately accommodated me. They took my order and had it to her in the hospital within 30 minutes; keep in mind they aren’t even delivering at this point. Needless to say my friend was ecstatic to be eating her favorite Meal. I commend them for there great food and excellent service. Thanks Formosa team. You guys are amazing.
Worst goddamn dinning experience of my life. Ordered delivery, was told 40 min…got my food after 2 phone calls and 1:30 of waiting. Food sucked, not very fresh, no flavor, just sucked. Hands down the worst chinese restaurant in Northwest Arkansas, maybe the worst in the country.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. I had a delivery order that never came and so I called them and said I would pick it up. I get there and they didn’t have it ready. Two hours after initially ordering the delivery I had to cancel the order. Then the manager named Will told me he couldn’t refund my money. The place is a joke and so is the manager obviously
Vegetarian beware. Worst food ever, service lacked as well.. We went to this restaurant and they gave us steamed instead of fried rice, lo mein with chicken (I said no meat due to being a vegetarian), Forgot my mushrooms and gave my friend pork with some kind of dark saunce on it when she ordered General Tsao chicken. My tofu had no sauce at all. The wait staff seems confused and although we weren’t charged for anything it wasted almost 45 minutes of our time, thats right it took 45 minutes to get our meal, when they brought it they brought the appetizer with all the other food. DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE, ITS AWFUL. We weren’t charged however so that was a small favor.
Overpriced and unflavorful. Generals chicken tasted like salt. No other flavor. Same with the hot and sour soup which was also very thick and gelatinous. Orange beef had a little more flavor but meat was chewy and tough, not crispy like they told me it would be. Crab rangoons were the best part of the meal, but we got take out and they didn’t include sauce. Way too expensive for this quality food. We won’t be back.
