Not worth the money. I looked at the list of food on the posted menu. most of it isn’t on the buffet. GC is slowly doing the same thing chinese buffets do…. replace dishes with deep fried frozen stuff, potato dishes and cheap cuts of meat…it was very poor for the money it cost… it cost us more than $25 for two people and we just had water. for that kind of money, we could dine at a upper end restaurant.

Well. We finally up and did it. We went to the Golden Corral- the bloated and gaudy Godfather of the value-driven gourmet buffet market. God help us one and all.Let’s start by saying that the sheer quantity of food-like items on display left even the most experienced eater among us slightly breathless and confused. Sure. I’ve seen plenty of buffets that push potatoes. Usually mashed. Often baked. But GC really brings the potato to the party. We’re talking mashed, baked, french-fried, scalloped, au-gratined, julliened. And that’s just the potatoes. Don’t get me started on the corn. Spoiler alert: they have fried corn fritters! There’s one table of salads and healthy looking items. I kept an eye on that one and didn’t see anyone get too close to it during my visit. It’s probably just one of those things that make corporate headquarters feel better about their company’s full-fledged assault against a life without heart disease. There’s also a whole cart of desserts. That’s where he chefs really shine. I’ve heard rumors that there used to be a few sugar-free options available, but that’s a thing of the past. I’m guessing the GC Brass decided that was playing too far out of their wheelhouse.Speaking of the desserts…nasty little children seem to get a real kick out of sticking their chubby little hands into the flow of the chocolate fountain. So what looks like a fancy fountain usually seen at royal weddings turns into an open sewage pipe of sub-par fudge. Bargain hunter tip: if you time your visit properly, you can pay for the lunch menu price, but enjoy the greater variety that the dinner buffet has to offer. I suggest arriving at 4:45pm….and avoid the temptation of the salad bar. You don’t want to make a rookie mistake like filling up before they start carving the roasted beefs.
Always a great bang for the buck!. Family of six here.. Costs about $75 bucks and it’s all you can eat of everything you can think of. All of the food for the most part is very good. The salad bar is amazing and the fresh baked bread (rolls, ect) are wonderful! The steaks are great and i know of knowere else you can get this much steak and shrimp for that low of a price. Our familys favorite place to eat and we always leave satisfied. And yes the place is usualy filled up with mexicans that let theyre 10 unruly children run wild running into everyone and digging theyre hands into the food, but if you try not to think about it, you will enjoy the food and the price. After all Springdalemexico is just a short mile away. Before you get mad at my comment just admire me for being honest. At least i say what others only think! lol
Ewwww. My niece and her friend ate here on Saturday. GC wanted to attract more people with a chocolate fountain. However, no one was watching the kid’s playing in it and putting their hands in the chocolate. They also saw kid’s messing with food on the main bars and when they told someone about it, they just piled more stuff on top of it. Be responsible GC!!! Monitor your food bars, etc. before you make someone sick!
Better than Rogers. It is, by far, If you are a Golden Coraller, you know what to expect.Take my advise go to Rogers and then to Fayetteville. and don’t expect a mexican buffet at Rogers. The owner genuinely cares about this place and it shows just ask him. his name is Thomas I do beleive/I also beleive in all you can eat sirloin steak!!! Ill be back…
It’s a buffet. **have to edit my review** the last time I went here, the quality had gone down tremendously. The last time will probably be the LAST time. After I had touted that they had flavor, unlike the now defunct Ryan’s, they went and sank to that level.
