I cannot see this place open by the time summer rolls around. Unless you sit at the bar expect to be underwhelmed by the service. These girls sit around at table with I am assuming are their regulars, ignore you when you walk in the door, and rarely come check on you.On the other hand, the food is serviceable for being bar food. It is typical bar food but is alright. In short, the owner needs to clean house starting with management. Lets see if they turn it around or if we will be welcoming another establishment in the near future.
This place is ok. It’s not super great, but it’s not bad. I do think the chicken tenders are excellent here, though. The serve their fries with some sort of aioli on the side, which is different. It’s a pretty good sauce. They also have free kids meals with purchase of an entre, so that’s a nice perk if you’ve got little mouths to feed. It’s a decent option for a casual dinner.
Southwertern salad. The southwestern salad we had today was awful. It was all ice berg lettuce. The chicken was like this slimy deli sliced stuff instead of real chicken. Will never order another salad from there. The potato skins were great though.

AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!. I am very shocked that there are even any negative comments in this section. Grub’s Uptown has very yummy food and good service. I’ve had a burger several times, the buffalo chicken wrap, and nachos and they were all very good! The waitresses are always smiling and willing to talk, but also keep an eye on your drinks and things you may need. I am very satisfied every time I leave and will come back often.
Best Burgers!. I went with my family and a selection of different things were ordered. All look very good to eat! I had the total package burger and it was a flavorful and juicy choice. I would be glad to take anyone there to have a great meal from a local restaurant. Our service was fast and attentive. Its a sports bar so you can keep up with the game while enjoying your meal. If you try the sauce that they have for the french fries you will really fall in love with this place. I say better try it and find out how good it is for yourself. I am surprised by the negative comments. We have been there more then just once and each time it was real good!
One of my Favorite places to eat! My husband and kids Love the burgers! Total package and the bacon cheeseburger. Fries are Great! I get the Buffalo chicken salad! It’s Huge! Big enough for 2 people. Lots of great lettuce, red onion, bacon red cabbage and bufflo chicken tossed in ranch. Awesome salad!
