Heard about the place, long time Fayetteville residents loved it so I decided to give it a try. Food was fair to bad. In this day and age, I expect house made fries and fresh ingredients. Nope. Service pleasant but inattentive. Took 10 minutes to get water refill after I asked for it. Had to use the bathroom and the horror of it all. Toilet stall in men’s room did not close, you have to have one hand on the door and the other to take care of business. Getting out you had to be an acrobat since the door swings in towards you and pins you against the toilet. Graffiti? Hey, if you need a date, this is where you get phone numbers. I would never go back and never suggest anyone else go unless Applebee’s or Chili’s is your benchmark.
Grubs is a nice little American burger joint. The waitress was attentive and the food was well priced and tasted great. We had the fried mushroom appetizer and it was way more quantity that expected. Our entrees were fajitas and a burger, both were satisfactory. Good atmosphere for sports but not to loud for kids either.

She offered to have them remade (we declined due to a tour scheduled at Crystal Bridges) and talk with the manager. Manager never showed but our bill sure did. Paid full price for food we couldn’t eat. NEVER Eating here again!
