What a place. After browsing over all the wonderful places(twice), we decided to hop in to JJ’s and I am so happy that we did. The music was super, the crowd was happy and enjoyed every bit of it. The servers were polite and so damn beautiful. The food was also good. All in all, it was exactly the place that we wanted to spend on a weekend.
I used to frequent the rogers location after work. I was intrigued a couple years later, when i realized i lived right down the road from the location here in Fayetteville. I worked really late, and my girlfriend and i were starving and didnt want to cook. Weve always been kinda bummed about the lack of late night eats around here, so we were eager to give this a whirl. With prior expectations..it was awesome. Lots of good options and some creative burgers/entrees. Music was good, our waitress was awesome, they had killer drink specials, and they somehow have the best macaroni and cheese ever? This is a badass place for post-work drinks and eats.
Good food. Cold Beer. Pretty waitresses. It’s salesman heaven. Any time I have Sales Reps in town we go to JJ’s. They have good wraps and sandwiches. Burgers are solid. I’m a big fan of the Chipotle Turkey Melt Sandwich. It makes me feel less guilty about my diet when I tell my wife I had a Turkey Sandwich for lunch! The Onion Rings are always great here too. They have some cool daily specials as well. Also, if you are seriously on a low carb diet they have a Cheeseburger Salad. Yes, it’s a cheeseburger minus the bun on a salad. With red onions and pickles! It was a great thing when I was cutting carbs!
Went to JJ’s for the first time on National Cheeseburger Day thinking it might be a good spot for a burger. Sadly, for us at least, it wasn’t. While the Chips and All appetizer was fine, the condiments overwhelmed the meat on both of our burgers. In fact, one of our burgers ran out of meat with a quarter of the bun remaining. Nice bar, lots of TVs – probably a great place to watch a game, but not to have a burger.
Free live music and $1.99 margaritas. JJ’s Grill is great for what it is. Don’t go to this restaurant if you are expecting a peace and quiet dinner. On the other hand, if you like loud local music, girls in skirts, cheap drinks, and cheap beer, you found a new home! It is a place to let loose and meet up with friends. This is what you think of when you think of a college town bar.
We love it. JJ’s has really good food, kids eat free all the time, and great atmosphere. I like the Philly Cheesesteak, and my wife loves the wraps. It is nice to be able to watch all the games too with plenty of TVs. The mac n cheese side dish is a favorite.
To Go Order. I got a cheese burger and fries and we also got a chicken salad to go. Burger quality is the lowest around no flavor and the fries was pretty bad too. My wife’s salad was ok. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and I have to say very unsatisfied and I dont usually write reviews about a place. Im not looking for something free I run a restaurant and get complaints from time to time so sometimes listening to what someone has to say helps your business. THANKS
