Sadly Little Bread Company was a disappointment. The setup of the place lends to natural confusion for ordering and waiting for food/drinks. People walked in the door and you could see in their faces they weren’t sure exactly the rule of order because people milled about. Are they in line? Are they trying to fill up their coffee cup? Are they waiting for their food to go? I got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and a latte. Four people that came in after me got their drinks first and I am not sure why. I heard them ordered and mine was the least complicated. The latte itself was decent, no complaints there. For the breakfast sandwich though the croissant was incredibly overdone. The amount of cheese overtook the bacon and egg. It might as well have been a cheese breakfast sandwich. And why does everything in their bread case look overdone as well? It’s not just an egg wash glaze over the tops of the pastries that’s caused a deeper brown.

I normally love Little Bread Co. for one reason: their bagels are the best in town. But the new owners seem to have changed the recipe or something. Just got some today and they’re a poor excuse for a bagel. Completely soft and doughy, absolutely no firmness or hardness at all. They’re floppy and squishy, impossible to even cut in half! They seem more like loops of bagel dough than actual bagels. Seriously, LBC, fix your bagels asap!!! They’re meant to have a crust! You should NOT be able to poke your finger right into the bagel and have the whole thing just give way like a ball of semi-cooked dough. These new owners need to go visit NYC and taste a real bagel (business expense the trip!) and then come back and improve their new recipe. PLEASE.

I can’t say enough good things about the lovely little bakery! The food is fantastic, from bialys to croissants to cinnamon rolls. Everything is fresh and delicious. I’ve had their Spinach Feta Pocket for lunch and highly recommend it. Not only is the food great but no matter how hectic a day they are having the staff is always so pleasant, they must have great patience!

Use to really love it but now…service is awful rude and or just not intelligent. food is pretty good but a lot of things are too salty like their chips…and some of their bread. Great atmosphere …if you’re outside. And they need a new door that opens the other way.

Quaint Cozy Atmosphere With Good Sandwiches. I love the atmosphere. There is an open air patio with unique benches and climbing vines. Off to the side is a second covered patio with a beautiful feel. Come for this experience all by itself. Inside is a fairly small restaurant. It’s painted green with simple wood tables. It sort of has a 1950’s class room feel. The menu is on the wall, but there are display cases full of quiche, bakery goods, and other yummy food. The service and food are middle of the road. They are not overly friendly, but they get the job done with a smile. The cookies are as big as your face, literally. We enjoyed both of our cookies. The pastry puff was really good. The dark chocolate mixed very well with the cream inside. The sandwiches were a mixed message. We tried four different sandwiches. All four were good, but we each had a caveat. Odd flavors were thrown in. The cream and avocado did not go well together. One but not both would have been fine. We walked away saying we enjoyed our sandwich, but it was just a bit over engineered with flavors.

Everything here is wonderful! There’s not a thing on the menu that isn’t good. It’s no surprise that they are crowded everyday for lunch and breakfast. I even ordered my wedding cake from here. The staff is wonderful. Overall, one of my favorite places to eat and visit
