I like the Mellow Mushroom franchise. I have been to several and each has a slightly different vibe swirling around the 60’s psychedelic mushroom theme. The rainbow colors are everywhere. This location is fairly toned down. Our server was awesome. She was very attentive and interacted with us a lot. The food was great. I love the muffuletta cheese bread. So good. The Shiitake pizza was wonderful.
Mellow Mushroom does not have the best pizza but it is a little fresher than some fast food spots and they have a menu with some good sandwiches and appetizers on it. The avocado sandwich is very good but it doesn’t come with anything like chips. Their hummus and spinach artichoke dip are good starters. The room is a little crowded and the tables aren’t that comfortable. The service is usually pretty good but many times they are out of something like avocado and slow to come back to tell you to choose something else. Really best for take-away in my opinion.
