The ol’ standby Mexican restaurant. Nothing is mind blowing but everything is solid. Good lunch specials. Good fajitas. The combos are nice. They also have a nice full bar and the margaritas are very good.
Below average. It’s below average. Not real Mexican food. Service was ok. It’s ok if u want cheap wannabe Mexican food. Taco Bell isn’t Mexican food but I would choose tb over Mexican viejo any day. Thanks!
This was my 3rd and last attempt to dine at Viejo. Staff got my order wrong and wouldn’t fix it. 3 strikes and you’re out.
Great food. Attend the restaurant weekly for either lunch or dinner. The food is great and affordable. Service is always great and fast. Can get loud inside, but seating is nearly immediate.
An old staple. Service is always friendly and fast, food is always consistent.Its not some of the higher quality food in town, but its decent.Ask for the tomatillo salsa, and the regular salsa is good too.
I’m sorry but if Mexico Viejo is your standard for Mexican food that’s pathetic. The food is decent at best. Chips and salsa is the best part. Great place if you’re looking for a cheap meal and there’s also good specials on alcohol but if you’re looking for authentic, good mexican food you should hit up Burrito Loco aka Colombia-Mex next door over Viejo
The Mexican Food on the planet. These people serve the best Mexican food on earth. Every time i visit another Mexican restaurant in another state, the standard to compare to is Mexico Viejo. The servers are friendly and helpful. They stay very busy keeping your drink refilled and making sure your food is served on time and hot! When in Fayetteville, don’t go any where else!
