Love the breakfast here. My favorite in Fayetteville. My standby is the John Wayne Rolling Pin Special. Try it! They also usually have Chocolate Gravy on the weekends also. Can’t go wrong here.
Wonderful place to eat breakfast and lunch. It is home town country cooking and lots of food to eat for the price. Try the Rolling Pin or the John Wayne Omelet you will not be disappointed. Do not forget to try the home made pies and cinnamon rolls. They also have chocolate gravy. Yum.
Don’t waste you time or money. A friend and I thought we’d grab breakfast, since it was around the corner from the pharmacy. We both ordered 2 eggs, hash browns and bacon. Biscuit and gravy instead of grits. Plan gravy, no sausage in the gravy. Both orders, eggs over cooked. Hash browns were barely browned on top, the rest uncooked. When the waitress brought the biscuits and gravy, it was sausage gravy and I had to pick out the crumbled up sausage. The side order of grits, I never got. Waitress did ask I still wanted the bowl of grits. After I was done with my breakfast. Add a cup of coffee and a glass of soda and it was a few cents under $20.00. There is nothing to justify the highly over price menu at Rolling Pin. I’d starve before eating at this place again. The best recommendation I can politely give if your thinking about trying this restaurant is, KEEP DRIVING! Roll right on down the avenue.
Like it…this place reminds me of the small-town eateries back home. Since relocating up to this area, I’ve yet to find a restaurant that reminded me of good home cooking until now. It can come across cold at first especially if they do not know you. Which was fine for my husband & I because we are familiar to that kind of gesture coming from a close knit community where everyone knows you.I had the rolling pin & my husband had an omlet both items were good. My coffee was kept filled & service was prompt. They also sell jams, honey, & pies. The restaurant itself was clean & when you walk in you seat yourself. I will definitely be back to this place!
Very good breakfast! Lunch was just starting and it smelled and looked great! I will return!
Wow! Homemade pies are great! Got one for Thanksgiving. They are made to order & delicious!
Love their Breakfast. I go their almost every Saturday morning for breakfast and sometimes for lunch during the week. Great food and friendly efficient staff.
