I’m a fan of retro themed diners and Steak ‘n Shake is just that. I have been to this location multiple times and service has been poor only once that I can remember. It is hard to beat the price of the burgers considering the quality. Depending on who you ask, their shakes are some of the best and they are half price from 2-5pm.
We eat burgers, shakes and fries here and they’re delicious. But oh my, breakfast was horrible. Cold undercooked bacon. Cold undercooked eggs. Cold pancakes that didn’t even melt the butter. Lukewarm syrup that still didn’t melt the butter. Chemical OJ. And when we told the manager, he knocked 50 cents off our ticket. Whoopsie!! Lost a customer there you guys.
Good Burger, Low Price. Just a good burger served at a low price. Probably the best fast food burger in town. The Royale is delicious.
Super slow service!!!! Waited FOREVER for a milkshake!!! And pretty disgusting to see staff in aprons wheeling trash to dumpster with a cigarette hanging out of their mouth.
Worst service ever! 50 minute hamburger, never again.
Service not so good. All the waitresses/waiters too busy hanging out by the prep area. I didn’t really care to hear their personal stories amongst themselves. Waitress rung order wrong, causing one person in our party to have to wait whike eveeyone else ate. She also argued about it when it was 1st brought to the table. Wish they would understand customer service. There are plenty of other places I can go grab a burger. Think i will choose somewhere else from now on.
Poor service! No drink refills. Did not check back with table. Last three visits was horrible. Will not be back. Need to get some adults working. Asked to talk to manager this last time young lady taking money could not or would not get a manager.
