The pizza here was pretty good. (although I do miss Tim’s in this location!) We’ve been here about 3 or 4 times and the pizza has been consistent. The crust is done perfectly and has a good flavor. I think that this isa solid addition to the pizza lineup in NWA, and hope they stick around.
Taste great but crust is a little tough. I’m going to try it again in a few weeks. I had the bbq chicken pizza.
Z’s has great brick oven pizza! Highly recommended by a group of picky brick oven lovin’ individuala.
Enjoyed the pizza a lot!!! It was very similar to real Italian pizza. I had the buffalo chicken and it was great! My husband had the chiky. It was a very delicious white sauce. The kids liked their food as well. 1 huge plus was that the kids pizza was 2 toppings instead of cheese or pepperoni. Definitely will recommend.
Something’s missing…. I really wanted to like Z’s. I really did. However, something’s missing from their pizzas. It’s a time or temperature issue. The toppings are fine. The sauce is fine. The flavor of the crust itself is wonderful. However, the tooth is all wrong on their crust. There’s a…toughness to it. Where there should be a bit of pliancy and give, instead there’s almost cracker-like rigidity. That’s a shame, too, because most of the flavors mesh quite well, and it’s easy to tell that the recipe for the crust is solid. Perhaps the ovens are too cold, or they keep the pizzas in the oven too long, but something vital is missing in that rare and complicated heat/time confluence that keeps Z’s from being truly great pizza. As it is, it’s a bit too nondescript, a bit too miscalculated, and a bit too mediocre to recommend.
Addicting Pizza. I can’t stop thinking about Z’s Margherita Pizza. This place surprised me and I highly recommend you give it a try!
Deeeelish! Best pizza in Fayetteville.
