1st time diner at Anthony’s. Last night was my first time trying Anthony’s. A co-worker of mine has recommended it a few times, and after negative experiences at Olive Garden, I finally got my family to go.The bread they serve is to die for, and I loved the dipping oil that comes out with it. The waitress was very attentive and very friendly. We had a party of 8 of us but we never had an empty drink on the table.I ordered the Shrimp Amore and it was delicious! I brought most of it home because it was a large portion. I was also asked f I wanted soup or salad to go with mine, but I knew I would not be able to eat it. My 10 year old daughter ordered the manicotti from the kids menu and it was also more than she could eat. My husband ordered the stromboli. He is not much of an Italian eater, so he was not sure what he was going to order. He said the stromboli was delicious and very filling. Our total bill was only $41 and that included the 3 meals, 2 soda’s and a glass of wine. I give them an A in my book! I’ll be back to try different dishes.
Today at Anthony’s Italian Restaurant. I drove all the way from Springdale just to try this place out. The atmosphere was great and the food was worth the drive. I love their calamari and their fresh soft baked rolls, it will leave you wanting more. I tried one of their seafood entres and normally I’m a little iffy about restaurants shrimp but the shrimp tasted fresh. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Bland Italian. Nothing special. It is essentially the same thing as Frank’s and Joe’s. Bland. Nice building.
Disappointing. My wife ordered the ‘shrimp amore’ ; I had a mixed seafood pasta. It was OK at best. We eat better at home. We assumed, wrongly as it turned out, that the entre would come with a salad. The waitress did not ask if we wanted salad, and none was offered as an option.Since this is not part of a franchise, the owners of this operation will be free to make the necessary adjustments to improve the quality of their food. They may provide a more satisfactory dining experience if they stay in business.
Fantastic food, great service. Italian dressing is homemade and delicious! Spaghetti bolognese is amazing! Manicotti is fantastic! Can’t say enough good things about Anthony’s!
Highly recommend Anthony’s!!!. I love Anthony’s. I’ve eaten there twice and both times the food was fabulous! The service was great and the restaurant was impressively clean. I’m going to call in a to go order right now.
