I have went here for years. It just keeps getting worse and worse. The people that work there just DO NOT CARE! They usually get my husband’s order wrong but since the food tastes okay and we live close we go back. This time I got his order home and it was supposed to be a double hamburger plain and dry…. This is what we got! The patties were thrown on the buns. Broken to pieces and COVERED in cheese. We specifically said NO CHEESE! Buns are not fresh and there is butter on them that was not melted! We have finally had it. We will not be returning and we advise everyone else to do the same!

They have great-tasting comfort food. I live close and eat there frequently, I haven’t had a bad meal. They have a great chef salad with chicken. Try the peanut butter pie.
Liver and Onions. Most of the time the liver and onions are delicious. Only had it too dry once when eating at an odd non meal hour. Their veggies are good and breakfast meals are very good. Crispy hash browns, all prices are reasonable. We like their burgers.
Best place. I grew up eating here! They treat me like i’m family just like everyone else! Their food is amazing!
My experience. I am very disappointed I just tried it for the first time. The waitresses were very rude didn’t even offer me a seat. I got the catfish dinner it was disgusting tasteing frozen and the bread was ntn but a flour taste and no other flavors. My mashed potatoes were microwaved and so was my hushpuppies. I seen them microwave everything that went to the tables I will never go back there ever again worst experience ever.
No frills good food. This place does not hide its plain fare with fancy menues, ornate fixtures, dim lighting. the cheese burgers were hand formed with four tomato slices, fresh crisp lettuce, creamy american cheese on a toasted bun. fries were unpeeled fresh habnd cut. the menu is served all day, every day. a bit out of the way, but i’ll be back.
