Yes, their ice cream is fresh and homemade and delicious, but you’re seriously cheating yourself if you go there and don’t get a pulled pork torta or some tamales. Their pineapple and watermelon aguas frescas are refreshing on another level. Delicias Michoacanas is one of my favorite places to take people who are new to Fort Smith or just visiting.

I am sitting in the restaurant as I type this. This place is amazing! The service was excellent. The food was excellent. I am so sad that this place isn’t near my home. We are visiting from OK. I would recommend this place to anybody. The fruit drinks were delicious!
Ice cream!!. My favorite place to get ice cream! they make it fresh everyday. the colors of the walls are gorgeous but the service is lousy. employees are always speaking in spanish to each other.
Fabulous! The Tortas (sandwiches) are delicious and very big! (Ideal for splitting). The ice creams are so legit. They make it all from scratch ingredients. I even questioned them once about their pumpkin ice cream – whether it was made from canned pumpkin pure or an actual pumpkin and they said they make it from a fresh pumpkin! They let you taste test some different flavors too before committing. The fresh juices are a little too sweet for me, but they’re still so fresh tasting. Unlike another reviewer mentioned, I’ve been helped by several different staff members and they have all been very friendly. I’m of the opinion that, despite this restaurant’s very authentic Latino food & atmosphere, they are very approachable and cross-cultural. Don’t feel intimidated to step in if you don’t speak Spanish – they are super friendly and will be happy to explain the different menu items to you.
A great discovery. Friendly and inviting staff with a family atmosphere. GIANT tortas for a great price, and a huge selection of fresh, homemade frozen treats and fruity drinks. The lovely lady at the counter explained everything and offered samples. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back and try something new.
