Dissapointed. The original Emmys was great.These guys are overpriced, poor service, poor presentation, food not tasty, etc etc.For German Food go to Wiedekhers in Paris AR or Eidelweiss in Fort Worth or off I-40 just East of OKC about 10 miles … They are worth the trip and effort…
This was the worst place I haver ate at for the price. We waited 1 hour for our food. The pork and chicken were like eating jerky. They were so dry and plain, no flavor at all. I highly do not recommend .
I have eaten at Emmy’s three times in the last two years and it is…. FANTASTIC! I love that place. The ribeye is delicious, I have ordered it twice. I’m a very very picky steak eater, and theirs is great. I also highly recommend the beef sauerbraten. Another favorite. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the dill dressing on the salad, but everyone else seems to like it, so I’m in the minority. The prices are kind of high, we usually pay about $60 – $70 for the two of us, that’s with no alcohol. Overall, highly recommend!
So Sad !!. I have eaten at Emmy’s for over 50 years now, but after my recent trip I will not be going back the food was cold, freezer burned meat, cabbage crispy, and atmosphere was not the same. The time before wasn’t much better. Myself and eight others were very disappointed . I am not usually this critical but the food was just bad!!!!!
Great experience. Went there last night. I was concerned about going because of all the negative reviews. It was very good. Nice atmosphere, nice people, good food. I can tell Emmys has its regular customers by the interaction between workers and guests. They keep coming back for a reason. I recommend the taste of Germany as it is a sample platter and you can try more than one of their signature items. While it may be a hit and miss kind of place.. last night it hit. I’ll be going back.
That was the best German food we have had in the States! Fantastic! Guten appetite!
