Joe’s is my favorite place to eat in Fort Smith! Best Margarita’s anywhere- hands down! I always order the chicken fajitas, which are real strips of grilled white chicken, not random bits of gristle like some Mexican restaurants offer. It has a wonderful, chargrilled flavor similar to Chili’s but even better. The chips, queso, and salsa are all delicious as well. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and I’ve been eating here for the past 3 years. Definitely give it a try- maybe on a night with some live music! They also have daily specials on drinks and food that are a good value.

Always Good. We usually go for lunch. The Specials are well priced and the Staff is always very Friendly…I recomend the Chili Relanos while my friend gets the 2 Enchilada dinner…
Not what it’s cracked up to be. I want to start off by saying that this is a TEX-MEX restaurant. I don’t believe that they advertise this aspect very well. There menu ranges from tacos and enchiladas to hot dogs and french fries. I haven eaten here on many occasions mainly for the cheap margaritas and hoping to find the one thing that I like. I am not a picky eater, but each time I return to Joe’s the food is sub-par. I have been told that everything at Joe’s is homemade, but to me it honestly does not taste like it. The salsa is bland and at times runny. The other reviews that say there are big chunks of veggies in it are true, but to me it seems like they cut up maybe a carrot or tomato only so that they can say it IS homemade with Sam’s Club salsa. Don’t even get me started on the cheese dip, because it is barley one level above concession stand nacho cheese. A friend had suggested I try the sour cream enchiladas, which they are known for… DON’T! They are so gross! As for the TEX food that Joe’s offers like the ribs or BBQ sandwich it is like any that you could get a decent BBQ joint. Would I recommend Joe’s to a friend… Maybe if they only wanted a cheap drink, and to stay away from the MEX part of the TEX-MEX menu. In short the food is bland and too Americanized.
Had the Cancun dinner it was great. On Thursday it’s also only 4.99. Great deal! Loved the salsa it has chunks of vegies in it. Will be back!
First visit Friday night. Pleasant atmosphere. Salsa was too spicy for me. Family enjoyed their food. Had a coupon from Yelp.com. Showed the server, she gave us bill without the coupon. Had to request a corrected bill. They had advertised on their sign about coupon so I feel that was an error that shouldn’t have happened . May or may not go back.
The pork enchilada was amazing! Taco was good (it’s just a taco after all). Add the $2.00 house margarita and you have an excellent experience. BeiNg a native of the desert southwest, I know switching about Mexican and this is good stuff. Negative reviews must be from competitors who are going out of business.
