La Fiesta in Fort Smith, depending on what you order, can seem like every other tastes-like-Fort-Smith-Mexican-food joint in the River Valley. But, there is a well executed little gem on the menu that keeps me coming back La Fiesta Jalisco. This is a combination of beef, chicken and shrimp sauted with scallions, green peppers, onion, tomatoes and cilantro then topped with a grilled cactus leaf and farmers cheese; all served in a traditional lava rock bowl. It is accompanied with tortillas and plate of rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, lettuce and tomato. Lots of food!!! Good food.
Yay Alambras!. The food here is too good to have such crappy waiters. We don’t feel welcome by them and are often ignored. Love the nachos, tacos, enchiladas…but the BEST is the alambras! Almost always have to ask for the sides that come with, but that is just the untrained wait staff. If they fixed this, they may double their business (we would eat there twice as often!) One other comment, we think the chips are too thick (and hard to get more brought to the table), but the salsa and queso is excellent! ….maybe if I had more of a tan???

Standard menu like most of the Mexican restuarants in the area, but the food has terrific flavor and the service is impeccable.
